Terminal 3 Dubai Airport Will Handle 1.3 Million Travelers

Approximately 1.3 million people are expected to transit through Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 during the next two weekends. Terminal 3 will witness 700,000 departures over the course of the next two weekends. During the next two weekends, Emirates airline anticipates that more than 700,000 passengers will leave from Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 as people head out for their spring break vacations, according to a statement. 

There will be close to 620,000 passengers coming on Emirates aircraft during the same time period, in addition to the departures from Dubai, as people make their way to Dubai for vacations and to take part in Expo 2020 before it closes at the end of March on March 31.

The easing of travel restrictions in 16 countries means Emirates customers will be able to check-in without having to produce COVID-19-related medical documentation, and in certain countries, passenger locator forms will no longer be necessary. The United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Mauritius, the Maldives, Austria, Bahrain, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Switzerland are among the countries that have signed the treaty.

Other countries continue to be subject to travel restrictions, and customers are advised to check on the Emirates website before booking their flights to ensure that their papers are in order.

Emirates also advised travelers to be at the airport at least three hours before their departure and to ensure that they have all of the necessary documentation for their trip.

Emirates has many check-in alternatives, including check-in desks and self-service kiosks. Using the 32 self-service bag drop machines and 16 check-in kiosks provided at Terminal 3, or by visiting one of Emirates’ check-in offices, clients may check in up to 24 hours before their aircraft departure.

Passengers flying to the United States may check in at Emirates’ check-in counters up to 12 hours before their flight. However, even though customers who use the self-service kiosk will get their boarding cards straight quickly, they will still need to complete their immigration requirements at least 60 minutes before their departure.

Check-in at the parking garage. The vehicle park check-in service, which is located next to the Terminal 3 car park area in Zone C, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is open up to six hours before to scheduled departure. People who are dropped off at Terminal 3 Departures Car Park will find it much quicker and more convenient to check in since there are no costs for utilizing the drop-off lane next to this facility.

Check-in is available online. The Emirates website and mobile app provide passengers the convenience of checking in online up to 48 hours and until 90 minutes before their aircraft departure, as well as the ability to download digital boarding passes to their mobile phones for specified locations.
