6 Countries Will No Longer Need A Visa To Enter China

China has announced that people of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia would no longer be required to get a visa in order to enter the country legally. This move is part of a larger strategy to stimulate the country’s tourist industry.

During the announcement that took place on Friday, Mao Ning, the spokeswoman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the exemption period is scheduled to continue from December 1 to November 30, 2024.

Citizens of these six countries would be exempt from the need to get a visa in order to travel to China for a period of up to fifteen days for a variety of reasons, including business, tourism, sightseeing, visiting family and friends, or transiting.

In addition to this declaration, China has recently undertaken a number of steps to make travel easier. Norway is the most recent nation to be added to the list of countries that are eligible for visa-free transit laws, which were expanded to include 54 countries only last week. Travelers from other countries who are passing through China on their way to another nation are able to remain in certain cities in China for a period of six days without having to go through the inconvenience of acquiring a visa.

There were 26.51 million international visitors to China by the end of October, as reported by the National Immigration Administration. This is a significant increase from the previous September.

A memorandum of agreement for a period of three years was recently signed by the China International Culture Association with the online travel business Trip.com Group in order to assist in the promotion of inbound tourism.

As part of this partnership, we are providing assistance for the Nihao! China campaign, which is an initiative that was initiated by the China International Culture Association. The campaign’s objective is to foster and encourage cultural interactions amongst people.

Trip.com Group will also work closely with Chinese cultural centers, tourist boards, and other organizations in an effort to improve the entire experience that visitors have in China. The goal of this collaboration is to highlight the many and enriching travel experiences that China has to offer. As China prepares to open its doors to the world, these coordinated activities are aimed at establishing the country as a leading destination for tourists from all over the world.

Trip.com Group has said that it intends to make investments in platform technology, marketing and promotion, and product integration over the course of the next three years in order to hasten the growth of inbound tourism in China.
