Newark Liberty International Airport and London Heathrow Airport will be served by a new daytime route from British Airways, which will be the airline’s third daily trip from Newark to London.
In order to facilitate the resumption of business travel in 2022, the departure has been planned.
The new flight, which will begin operating on June 6, will depart from Newark at 07:55 a.m. It will be a convenient option for travelers who wish to spend an extra night in the New York area before departing on business or leisure, as well as for those who wish to arrive in London in the evening and spend the night at their residence or hotel.
In addition to enabling travelers to spend the full day in London before departing for Newark on this trip, it will leave Heathrow at 19:10.
It will also resume its “daylight” service from JFK starting in March, which has proven to be a handy alternative that is especially appreciated by business travelers and consumers who like to fly during the daytime hours.
Customers in Manhattan, Staten Island, and New Jersey will benefit from the extra Newark service, which will be available on a regular basis now.
By increasing frequency, British Airways and its joint business partner American Airlines will be able to provide the most extensive network from the New York area to London, with 15 daily departures this summer. This includes 11 daily flights from JFK to Heathrow and one daily flight from JFK to Gatwick, among other destinations.
The service will be operated on a Boeing 777-200 with 48 Club World seats, 40 World Traveller Plus seats, and 184 World Traveller seats. The flight will be operated on a daily schedule.
According to Neil Chernoff, British Airways director of networks and alliances: “We are thrilled to announce the introduction of our third daily route from Newark, which will help to further improve our New York – London schedule.”
Customer who choose to spend an additional night in New York or arrive in London late at night to start their next day more refreshed would like the convenience of the morning departure, says the airline.
