Visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park have been murdered

Security forces are on the hunt for suspected members of the ADF who are believed to have slain three people in Queen Elizabeth National Park today, including two visitors from other countries and a Ugandan. A representative for the police named Fred Enanga verified the event and said that the suspected rebels set fire to a land cruiser belonging to Wild Gorilla Safaris with the registration number UBF 303C following the incident.

“We have registered a cowardly terrorist attack on two foreign tourists and a Ugandan in Queen Elizabeth National Park,” the official said. “The attack took place in Queen Elizabeth National Park.” Their safari vehicle was also destroyed in the fire that claimed their lives. Our combined troops reacted swiftly upon getting the information and are now conducting a vigorous search for the individuals believed to be affiliated with the ADF, Enanga said.

According to the information that has been gathered, the assault took place along Katwe road in the Kasese area, which is close to Lake Nyamunanuka. The deceased were a guide from Uganda, a citizen of the United Kingdom, and a citizen of South Africa.

The event took place a few days after a vehicle was attacked by suspected rebels, resulting in the deaths of two of the truck’s passengers. On Friday morning, unknown assailants set fire to a box body truck with the registration number UBN 624L in the settlement of Katholhu, which is located along the Kasese-Mpondwe border route and is just about a kilometer away from the Rusese barracks.
