Air France Will Increase Nonstop Flights Between Nairobi & Paris

The French national airline, Air France, has expanded the frequency of direct flights between Nairobi and Paris. These flights do not make any stops along the way. This is because there has been an increase in demand.

The number of weekly flights to Nairobi will increase from four to seven beginning on June 15, 2023; before, there were just four.

The objective of the route extension is to be of assistance to companies located in France and Kenya, particularly those operating in the horticulture, pharmaceutical, and other sectors that are reliant on air travel.

This increase comes at a time when the airline is commemorating its fifth anniversary on the Kenyan route since it began operating out of Charles de Gaulle Airport in 2018.

Air France has been here for five years, and despite difficult times like the COVID-19 period, it is a clear sign that we are here to stay,” said Marius van der Ham, the General Manager of Air France-KLM East and Southern Africa as well as Nigeria and Ghana. “Air France has been here for five years,”

“The increase in flight frequency also connects Kenya not only to Paris but to the rest of the world via our two hubs, Charles de Gaulle and Schiphol,” he said, “which is our key contribution to Kenya’s aviation sector and to the larger business community.”

A Boeing 787 Dreamliner and a Boeing 777 will be used by the airline on the route. Both of these aircraft are of the most recent generation.

There will be 48 seats available in the premium economy, while there will be 273 seats available in the economy section.
The general manager continued by saying, “Kenya is one of our high-interest markets, and as a result, we are committed to bringing our best products here for our customers.”
