The government decided to bring a digital nomad visa, which would enable you to remain and work in the country for a maximum of 12 months, in response to the development of remote working. The new Spanish legislation is a component of the recently passed Startup Act.
Numerous small towns and villages in rural Spain have seen their populations dwindle due to a lack of employment possibilities, but these places, in particular are more than willing to accept distant employees.
For the first time, about 30 towns and villages throughout Spain have agreed to join the National Network of Welcoming Villages for Remote Workers (also known as the National Network of Welcoming Villages for Remote Workers), which aims to attract more digital nomads to their communities. La Rioja
San Vicente de la Sonsierra is a town in La Rioja, Spain.
With its location on a hill above vineyards that produce some of the Rioja region’s most renowned wines, this community is brimming with historical significance. Its meandering alleyways come to a climax at a castle and church with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
San Vicente de la Sonsierra has a population of just more than 1000 people, yet that does not imply that it is isolated. In the immediate vicinity, there is a health center, a post office, a library, and a variety of stores.
Zamora
Zamora’s Rabanales de Aliste are a must-see.
With less than 500 residents, this community is located close to the Portuguese border and is a popular tourist destination. Because of the aging population, linguistic traditions and historic tales of life in this region are being lost, as is the ability to communicate.
