Tayto Park has revealed plans to build a new rollercoaster for children dedicated to dinosaurs, dubbed ‘Dino Dash.’
Dino Dash will open its doors on Saturday, April 9, just in time for the often popular Easter midterm holiday.
‘Dino Dash’ will be a thrilling journey for young dinosaur fans, providing them with an opportunity to get up close and personal with Raptors, T-Rex, Triceratops, and other prehistoric creatures’
With speeds of 50kph and heights of 11.7m, the 260m-long rollercoaster will be the first of its type in the globe. It will include a revolutionary track design that will be the first of its kind anyplace in the world. Vekoma, a Dutch business, is responsible for its construction.

Although the Tayto name will be retired, Ray Coyle has said that he has no intention of selling his theme park.
Tayto Park is searching for individuals who are ‘fun, outgoing, and energetic’ for 250 seasonal positions.
This €3 million new track will house ten safari-themed carriages that can each handle 20 passengers at a time, and it is expected to provide dino aficionados with the ultimate roar-some trip!

With numerous additional activities in the works as part of our €30 million investment over the next two years, I have no doubt this will be a popular option among our younger guests.
In addition, on Easter Sunday, Tayto Park will conduct the ultimate Easter egg hunt, with youngsters encouraged to come and break the secret code in order to locate Mr Tayto’s hidden stockpile of chocolate Easter eggs scattered across the theme park and zoo.
It will also be open during the Easter weekend, featuring more than 250 creatures and 100 species to see and interact with up up and personal.
