Flydubai has received two awards at this year’s Aviation Achievement Awards, one in the General Aviation category and one in the Commercial Aviation category.
Flydubai CEO Haith Al Ghaith was voted CEO of the Year, and the airline was selected Low-Cost Airline of the Year, both at the World Travel Awards.
The airline’s chief commercial officer, Hamad Obaidalla, accepted the honors on the company’s behalf during a ceremony held on Tuesday evening in Dubai.
“The awards recognize and honor significant accomplishments in the aviation sector, as well as distinction in leadership, innovation, and perseverance. According to Obaidalla, “the accolade highlights the dedication and hard work of everyone at flydubai, while also showing our agility as a company and the contributions we have made to the travel industry in the previous year.”
