6 places where Covid is not a factor in your vacation plans

According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Covid-19 has reached the endemic stage in several countries, and steps are being taken to reduce border restrictions and expedite travel. According to the International Air Transport Association’s newest research of travel limitations for the world’s 50 biggest air travel markets, its vaccinated passengers are able to fly to a rising number of places.

The purpose of this article is to highlight some major tourist sites where tourists may go without being exposed to a variety of Covid-19-related testing and quarantines.

Since the Omicron wave did not result in a spike in hospitalizations, Switzerland has been able to withdraw practically all of its pandemic restrictions, according to the country’s health ministry. The new policy does not now impose any testing or quarantine requirements on passengers who have received vaccinations before entering Switzerland, and travelers who enter Switzerland do not need to complete an entrance (passenger locator) form.

As a result, travelers and residents alike no longer need to wear a mask or show a vaccination certificate while visiting pubs, restaurants, and other indoor venues such as sports facilities, theaters, or concert halls when traveling around Switzerland.

The country of fire and ice has removed the totality of its Covid-19 biosecurity controls, which were in place until Feb. 25 this year. Border regulations, social isolation, the mask requirement, and gathering restrictions are all examples of this. International visitors visiting Iceland’s world-famous glaciers will no longer be required to submit a negative test and confirmation of Covid-19 vaccine, as was previously the case.

The Maldives has been one of the first few nations to open its doors without the need for quarantine restrictions back in July 2020. Since March 4, the government has eliminated all remaining travel restrictions, which means that overseas tourists who are completely vaccinated do not need to submit a negative Covid-19 test in order to enter the country.

Furthermore, the Maldives has abolished the need that tourists wear masks, enabling them to completely enjoy the pure air of the nation and genuinely appreciate the broad variety of unique activities available on this island paradise.

Fans of Guinness can rejoice! Beginning on March 6, overseas tourists will be able to visit Ireland without being subjected to any Covid-19 limitations. Following an announcement by the Irish government, tourists from foreign countries would no longer be needed to provide confirmation of vaccination or recovery from the Covid virus. Also excluded from the necessity to fill out the passenger locator form is the group of people who are traveling together.

Following their stay in Ireland, travelers who plan on visiting Northern Ireland (perhaps to see the first official Game of Thrones Studio Tour?) after their stay in Ireland will still be required to comply with the United Kingdom’s travel requirements, which includes filling out a UK passenger locator form.

People going to the Netherlands from countries outside the EU/Schengen region will no longer be required to provide a negative test result as of March 23. The Netherlands, however, has withdrawn its obligation for citizens to self-quarantine as of February 25.

In order to be eligible for a Covid-19 test-free and quarantine-free arrival, passengers must still provide confirmation of immunization or recovery before to departure.

United Arab Emirates

As on February 26, visitors who are completely vaccinated will no longer be required to undergo a PCR test. Visitors who have been vaccinated just need to provide a vaccination certificate with an authorized QR code, according to the new reduced requirements stated by the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority (NECDMA). Vaccine-uninfected tourists will be permitted admission, but they will be required to provide a negative pre-arrival PCR test result within 48 hours of their arrival.

In addition, the UAE has abolished the need for physical separation in public locations. Masks are still required in public interior settings, although they are optional in the outdoors.
