Emirates Airlines Is Selling Tickets To Jamaica

Emirates Airlines has begun selling tickets to Jamaica, marking a significant first for both Jamaica and the Caribbean as a whole. Because to this arrangement, Jamaica and the rest of the area are now accessible to travelers coming from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

This ground-breaking deal is a significant achievement for Jamaica as a result of the country’s maiden participation in the Arabian Travel Market, which takes place from May 9–12, 2022.

Minister Bartlett has been quoted as saying, “This is a huge undertaking for Jamaica as it opens the entrance to the Middle Eastern region from Asia and North Africa.” It is the first time that Destination Jamaica has been incorporated into the ticketing system of a GCC airline, and as a result, it provides the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) with a substantial amount of power to negotiate direct flights to the destination.” When Minister Bartlett and Director of Tourism Donovan White paid their first visit to Expo 2020 Dubai in October 2021, this was the catalyst for the beginning of the discussions.”

The airline reservation system now includes both Norman Manley International Airport and Sangster International Airport, and passengers may purchase tickets at prices that are appropriate for any airport.

There are several flight alternatives available, some of which include JFK, New York, Newark, Boston, and Orlando.
