Virgin Atlantic Will Begin Service To Orlando The Following Week - Travelrnews

A Virgin Atlantic flight between Edinburgh and Orlando will take off for the first time on Wednesday. The flights, which will be operated by an Airbus 330-300, will fly twice weekly and will provide direct links for the airline’s Scottish clients to the amusement park capital of the world, Orlando.

The new service from Edinburgh Airport, which serves as the entrance to the Highlands, will give visitors from Florida with a direct connection to the interesting and ancient capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh. The country’s stunning and world-renowned countryside is also easily accessible from the city.

“Beginning flights from Edinburgh to Orlando marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Virgin Atlantic, and we couldn’t be happier to launch our second route from our new home in Scotland, following the launch of our direct service to Barbados last year,” said Juha Jarvinen, chief commercial officer at Virgin Atlantic.

In the words of Virgin Atlantic’s leisure package, “Orlando has long been known as the “Theme Park Capital of the World.”

“I’m certain that our Scottish clients will enjoy visiting attractions like as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, as well as the many other great experiences that this fascinating location has to offer.”
