It is being advised that passengers flying out of Sydney’s domestic airport should come far earlier than normal during the next school holidays, as families are finally able to break free from the COVID-19 confinement restrictions.
Travelers are recommended to arrive at the airport two hours before their flights depart, rather than the usual 60 minutes, since enormous lineups and lengthy delays are anticipated at the terminal, according to the airline.
Sydney Airport’s general manager of operations, Greg Hay, predicted that the Easter school vacations will bring about the busiest period at the airport since the outbreak began.

There is no change for people flying internationally, Mr Hay said, with those passengers advised to arrive three hours before departure.New South Wales schools are scheduled to break for holidays at the end of next week, on April 8.Domestic passenger numbers at Sydney airport have nearly doubled over the past six months, but international travel through the airport is well down on pre-pandemic levels.
