BANGKOK, Thailand, March 1, 2022 After a 32-year break, Saudi Arabian Airlines finally returned to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport on Monday with its first flight.
Water cannon salutes were fired at the airports in Thailand to mark the occasion of the maiden flight. Flight SV846, which arrived at 1805 local time, had 120 people on board, according to the airline. The return flight from Bangkok took off at 2035 local time.
The airline will operate three weekly trips on the Riyadh – Bangkok route, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
