Qatar Created World Cup Accommodation Booking Platform

The opening of the hotel booking website for FIFA World Cup fans in Qatar has been confirmed by the country’s government. It will take place from November 21st to December 18th this year, with a total of 64 matches scheduled across eight sites over that time period.

Tickets are on sale now and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. All ticket holders are “encouraged to apply for lodging” via the Qatar Accommodation Agency, which is managed by the Qatar Tourism Authority.

The organization will serve as the primary booking platform for fans who want to stay during the event, and it offers the most comprehensive selection of accommodations at a wide range of pricing ranges.

“While fans are welcome to book accommodations via hotel/holiday websites or other ways, the QAA portal is suggested since it will offer the greatest selection of lodging alternatives at the most competitive costs,” the QAA noted in a statement.

There will be a vast variety of lodging choices available, including hotels, flats, villas, fan villages, and cruise ship cabins, amongst others. The Hayya Card – which is a component of the Fan ID system – will be required for all fans attending FIFA World Cup matches as well.

This is a digital or physical card that will carry all of the necessary information for fans’ trips, including match tickets, lodging information, and the current status of Covid-19. Having a valid Hayya Card will also provide you free access to public transportation on matchdays, as well as smart route planning capabilities (via the Hayya app).
