Qatar Airways Will Add More Berlin Flights Soon

Beginning in August, the airline will provide more frequent connections between Doha and Berlin.

Berlin, the capital city of Germany, is poised to gain more from Qatar Airways’ worldwide network as the airline wants to boost the number of flights that it operates to and from Berlin. The airline has almost returned to its previous level of success, as seen by the recent recording of a record profit as well as the expansion of both its route network and the number of flights it operates.

There should be more flights to Berlin.

In about one and a half months, Qatar Airways will be ready to offer more love to Berlin by adding more flights to the city. Beginning on August 11th, the airline will boost its existing schedule of flights, which includes one trip per day, to ten flights per week. The number of flights between Doha’s Hamad International Airport and Berlin Brandenberg Airport will increase to 11 per week beginning on September 6th, providing an additional boost to the schedule.

The CEO of the airline, Akbar Al Baker, made the following comment:

“We have always supported the German market in order to secure improved connection for our passengers, therefore enabling them to enjoy one-stop services to so many different locations all over the world.” We have put in a significant amount of work to ensure that our passengers in Germany have a variety of options available to them. As a result of these efforts, our Berlin schedule now includes 11 flights per week to Doha, bringing the total number of weekly departures to Doha from our three gateways to 46.

Flights operated by Qatar Airways depart from three airports in Germany: Berlin Airport, Frankfurt Airport, and Munich Airport. Qatar has long had a significant presence in Germany. Even in the first stages of the epidemic, it was able to keep services running to two cities and assist in the return of over 25,000 people to Germany safely.

Positive expansion

Qatar Airways currently flies to more than 150 destinations around the world, and its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport, was recently awarded the title of “Best Airport in the World” by Skytrax World Airport Awards 2021. Qatar Airways connects to all of these destinations through Hamad International Airport.

The airline company said earlier this month that it had the most successful year in its 25-year existence, making a profit of 1.54 billion dollars. It was over 200 percent greater than the airline’s next-best year, which demonstrates how hard the corporation is trying to produce money even in challenging circumstances.

Qatar has shown a high degree of adaptability and success in the execution of the strategy of continuing to prioritize the requirements of its clients. It has a variety of collaborations with different airlines, and only recently, it established a new relationship with Airlink in South Africa.

The agreement is anticipated to be beneficial for both the airlines involved and the passengers alike, as it would enable travellers to make seamless connections between 45 destinations in 13 countries throughout Southern Africa and the rest of the globe.

In June, it also began offering flights to the Greek island of Santorini, expanding its services in the country to a total of three locations in Greece (including Athens and Mykonos).

The post-pandemic development of Qatar is truly astounding, given that it shows no indication of slowing down.
