Qatar Airways will restart flights to London Gatwick Airport on June 5, 2022, after a hiatus. It will fly a daily service from Gatwick to Doha on a state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will have 22 seats in Business Class and 232 in Economy Class. The airline has won several awards for its service. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a cutting-edge aircraft in terms of environmental performance. When compared to other comparable aircraft, it burns 20 percent less fuel and emits 20 percent less CO2.
With the addition of daily flights to London Gatwick, passengers will be able to enjoy seamless connectivity to nearly 150 destinations across the airline’s extensive global network via the Hamad International Airport, including popular destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australasia, as well as destinations in the United States and Canada.
In addition to Qatar Airways’ recently launched flights to Doha from Gatwick by joint business partner British Airways, the resumption of the London Gatwick service means the airlines can jointly offer more options between London and Doha and beyond, while also earning Avios frequent flyer points along the way.
Customers in the United Kingdom will now have access to four gateways, including five daily trips from London Heathrow, 18 weekly flights from Manchester, and four weekly services from Edinburgh, which will increase to daily service from 2 June 2022.
