Pearl Mist Reopens For Summer Program In Great Lakes

Another cruise service has re-opened its doors for business. This week, Pearl Seas Cruises welcomed passengers on board the Pearl Mist for the first time since 2019.
The ship, which can accommodate 210 passengers, has returned after a cruise to Maine and Canada.

After departing from Rockland on Saturday, May 7, the itinerary includes stops at Campobello Island, St. Andrews, St. John’s, Grand Manan Island and Bar Harbor. The program includes seven nights of port-intensive sightseeing.

The 15-night “Canadian Maritimes & St. Lawrence Seaway” itinerary will be followed by the inaugural cruise’s 15-night itinerary.

The journey runs from Portland to Toronto, with various stops along the way in Canada and along the East Coast of the United States.
Along with that, the voyage includes a complete passage of the St. Lawrence Seaway, which is an interconnected network of lock-free canals and channels that links Canada’s Atlantic Ocean with its Great Lakes.

A full summer season of exploration of the Great Lakes is planned for Pearl’s comeback season this year.

In the area, the Pearl Mist offers two cruise experiences: an 11-night Great Lakes & Georgian Bay itinerary and a shorter 7-night Great Lakes itinerary, which are both available from June to August.

Both cruises go between Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Toronto, Canada, and stop at a variety of American and Canadian ports of call, including Midland, Sault Sainte Marie, and Muskegon, among other destinations.

The Pearl Mist was created specifically for sailing in the region, and it entered service there in 2014.
The vessel, which can accommodate just 210 guests, has a vast dining area, enormous lounges, large windows, high ceilings, and over-sized balcony suites, among other amenities.

Also available is all-inclusive cruising, which includes fine dining, complimentary cocktails every night of the cruise as well as complimentary beer and wine with lunch and dinner, in addition to enrichment programs and entertainment, as well as daily small-group excursions with private transportation from the ship.

Pearl Seas will also be providing an extended onboard and onshore enrichment program for the 2022 season, which will include new activities like as kayaking and hiking, as well as local experiences such as lobster fishing, seal viewing, and glass-bottom boat excursions, among others.
