Oman Air and SalamAir to expand partnership

Oman Air and SalamAir have announced further collaboration in order to better align both airlines’ networks in order to accommodate increased passenger traffic in and out of Oman.

With this new partnership, Oman will be able to significantly extend the number of outbound destinations accessible to visitors in the Sultanate, while also increasing the number of flight choices available to foreign guests visiting the Sultanate.

“This is a watershed moment for aviation in Oman and signifies the beginning of greater alignment between Oman Air and SalamAir at a time when the industry is beginning to show signs of revival,” said Abdulaziz Al Raisi, chief executive officer of Oman Air. Offering customers more convenience and connection is something that both airlines excel at, so collaborating on key routes makes perfect sense for all parties involved. As a result of this collaboration, the importance of this collaboration is further heightened in the context of Oman’s Vision 2040 Strategy, in which both airlines play a critical role as facilitators of the Strategy’s tourism pillars by providing expanded travel alternatives into Oman.”
