Jet2.com & Jet2holidays Confirm Significant Summer Expansion

The firms will increase the number of flights, the number of vacations, and the number of locations available for next summer from Glasgow, East Midlands, and Bristol airports, with one extra aircraft being placed in service at each of the three bases to accommodate the expansion.

A new Girona route from Glasgow, as well as Malaga and Chania from Bristol, and Santorini from East Midlands, have been launched by the airline and the operator, respectively. Over the course of the summer, the firms will offer a total of 52 different locations from their ten UK hubs.

The brands will fly to a total of 28 destinations from Glasgow, as well as 32 destinations from the East Midlands and Bristol airports.

CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Steve Heapy said that the firms are enjoying good demand “through all seasons.” The CEO said, “We always anticipated that when international travel resumed its previous levels of activity, consumers and independent travel agencies would react by rushing to book our award-winning flights and vacations.”

“Such a growth would not have been possible without the continuing support of our customers and independent travel agency partners. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our customers and independent travel agent partners for their continued support.”

Our consistent commitment on offering VIP customer service, which has had such an immediate and profound effect, is something I can assure them of going forward.
