Introducing Air Astana Routes Between London & Bodrum, Turkey
Air Astana will begin operating flights to London from Almaty on May 12, 2022, with a layover at Aktau, Kazakhstan, in the western part of the country. Thursdays and Saturdays will be the days when the service will be provided by Airbus A321LR aircraft. Passengers from Kazakhstan’s capital will be able to join the aircraft to London from Aktau thanks to a simple connecting domestic flight from Nur-Sultan, the country’s capital.
Flight KC901 will leave Almaty at 10.45 and arrive in Aktau at 13.05, with an onward flight from Aktau to London leaving at 14.05 and arriving in London at 16.05. Flight KC901 will depart Almaty at 10.45 and arrive in Aktau at 13.05. The return flight from London will leave at 18.05 and arrive in Aktau at 04.10 the following day, with the return flight from Aktau departing at 05.10 and arriving in Almaty at 09.00 the following day. All timings are in the local time zone.
Passports are not required for entry into the United Kingdom, nor are PCR testing and immunizations.
On top of that, starting on May 27th, Air Astana will begin offering flights from Almaty to Bodrum in southern Turkey. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Airbus A321 aircraft will be used to transport passengers and cargo.
In the morning, flight KC659 will leave Almaty for Bodrum, where it will arrive at 11:50. On the way back, the plane will leave Bodrum at 13:45 and arrive in Almaty at 22:05 local time. All timings are in the local time zone.
Unvaccinated travelers above the age of 12 must obtain a negative PCR test certificate issued 72 hours before departure, or an express antigen test done 48 hours before departure, in order to board the plane.
