Prices for popular family vacation locations overseas have risen by as much as 16 percent during peak seasons.
Paul Hackett, president of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) and CEO of travel agency Click & Go, compiled figures for the Irish Independent that show popular sun holidays in the Canary Islands, Spain, and Portugal are significantly more expensive in July and August this year compared to the same period prior to the flu pandemic in 2019.
