Hawaiian Airlines Adds Summer California Service

During the summer of 2022, Hawaiian Airlines will provide more flights between California and the Aloha State than previously offered.

After operating nonstop service from Oakland Airport and Kona Airport on the island of Hawaii since summer 2016, the airline will resume nonstop service between the two locations.

Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines will be introducing a second daily service between San Francisco International Airport and Honolulu starting in April.

The service will be available from June 15 through September 6, with flights leaving Kona at 11:55 a.m. and landing in Oakland at 8:10 p.m. daily. Flights from Oakland to Kona will leave at 8:10 a.m., with an arrival time of 10:40 a.m., according to the airline. Hawaiian Airlines also offers daily nonstop flights from Oakland to the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, among other destinations.

A second nonstop flight between San Francisco and Honolulu will be available from May 15 to August 1. Flights will leave Honolulu at 8:45 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 5:05 a.m., with an extra flight departing San Francisco at 7 a.m. and arriving in Honolulu at 9:30 a.m. The flights will depart Honolulu at 8:45 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 5:05 a.m.

On average, Hawaiian will operate nine daily flights between the San Francisco Bay Area and the Aloha State during the summer travel season (June through August). From June 11 through August 15, the airline will also operate daily nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Maui, according to its website.
