Air Canada officially restored non-stop flights between Greece and Canada, which had previously been suspended. During the period of 28 March 2022 to 20 November 2022, the airline will run a summer service connecting Athens and Toronto; during the period of 29 March – 21 November 2022, the airline will operate a seasonal service between Athens and Montreal. During the summer season, both services will be available on a daily basis.

There will be three classes of service available on Air Canada flights from Athens to Toronto and Montreal: Economy, Premium Economy, and Air Canada Signature Class, which includes lie-flat seating. The flights will be operated by Air Canada mainline with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which can accommodate 450 passengers.

All flights are scheduled to provide the best possible connection to Air Canada’s wide North American network, which includes 46 airports in the United States. Seats may be reserved online aircanada.com, using the Air Canada App, through Air Canada’s 24-hour Contact Center, through travel agents, or by contacting Air Canada Reservations directly.

The announcement was made by Stefano Casaregola of Air Canada Regional Manager Sales Greece. “This is really exciting news for our clients in Greece, who can now begin planning their next vacation to rediscover Canada,” Casaregola stated.

When nations reopen and border restrictions are relaxed throughout the globe for vaccinated travelers, our non-stop flights from Athens to Toronto and Montreal will give our clients in Greece with a direct connectivity to Canada and beyond. The arrival of our consumers is something we are looking forward to.”

According to Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director, Communications & Marketing at Athens International Airport, “We are really pleased to welcome Air Canada back to Athens this year sooner than ever before!”

When our direct flights to Montreal and Toronto are restored for the summer of 2022, the connectivity of our airport, our city, and the nation is greatly increased, and the traveling public will be able to once again benefit from Air Canada’s superior quality of service!” says the CEO of Air Canada.

We wish Air Canada a prosperous summer ahead, and we are fully committed to assisting the airline in its expansion ambitions out of Athens!”..
