Jet2
Aircraft from and to England and Northern Ireland no longer require passengers to wear face masks aboard their flights operated by Jet2.

It is still mandatory for anyone flying to or from Scotland to use a face mask in flight.
According to a statement on the airline’s website: “If you are unable to wear a mask, you must notify us in advance so that we can accommodate your travel plans. If you do not comply with our request to wear a face mask, you will not be permitted to board your aircraft or make your transfer.”
Ryanair
On Ryanair flights, as well as at the airport, it is required to wear a face mask or other protective covering. Make contact with the airline ahead of time if you need an exemption from wearing a face mask due to a medical condition.
Virgin Atlantic
Passengers aged 12 and over are required to wear face masks or facial coverings at all times while aboard aircraft and in the terminal area of the airport. For flights to or from the United States, it is mandatory for anybody over the age of two to wear a face mask on board the aircraft.
You may remove the face mask in order to “eat or drink when it is reasonably essential to do so,” to take medicine, or to prevent the danger of damage or injury to yourself or others. Norwegian Air
The use of face masks is required on Norwegian Air flights for passengers who are 16 years old or older. Face masks must be large enough to cover your nose and mouth and “must be manufactured specifically for the purpose” – scarves, for example, will not be allowed.
If you want to eat or drink during the flight, you may do so without wearing your mask. The use of a face mask may prevent you from being allowed to board the aircraft.
“If you have a medical condition that precludes you from wearing a mask, you must submit a medical certificate to the gate crew verifying this before boarding,” the airline states.
TUI
TUI has modified its face mask policy for passengers departing from the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Its travel policy outlines how it operates: “Even though wearing a face mask on a TUI Airways trip to or from England or Northern Ireland is no longer required by law, the airline highly recommends that you do so in accordance with UK government and EU Charter guidelines. Please do not go if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms or testing positive – you may be able to cancel your vacation plans without incurring any further fees under our covid-19 flexibility policy.”
Anyone over the age of 12 traveling on flights to or from Wales or Scotland must still wear a face mask throughout their journey unless they are exempt from this requirement due to medical need.
Travelers must pack their own face masks, as well as additional ones in case of long-haul flights, since it is necessary to replace your facial covering every four hours. For health concerns, you’ll need to obtain a government exemption card, or you may choose to wear a face shield instead.
Emirates
According to an explanation on the Emirates website: “You are required to wear a cloth or medical mask throughout Dubai International, including throughout boarding, the duration of your journey, and as you exit the plane. Customers with specific medical issues, including children under the age of six, are exempt from wearing a face mask.
In accordance with local rules, only medical face masks are permitted on flights from Dubai to Germany, France, and Austria, with the exception of international flights. The Medical Information Form (MEDIF) must be completed prior to your trip if you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons for the duration of your whole voyage.”
easyJet
At the airport, at the gate upon boarding the aircraft, and during the flight, all passengers aged six and older will be forced to wear a face mask. Passengers who do not wear a mask will not be allowed to board the plane, according to the airline.
A face mask is required; scarves, face visors, or masks with valves are not authorized, and you may be denied passage if you do not comply.
EasyJet asks customers who have a medical exemption from wearing a face mask to notify the airline in advance of their flight. You may be needed to provide a medical letter or certificate proving your exemption in order to travel to certain countries.
British Airways
British Airways mandates all passengers aged 12 and above to wear a face mask at all times while in the airport and on board the aircraft, according to the company’s guidelines. (The only exception is flights to and from the United States, where it is required by law for anybody aged two and above to wear a face mask on flights.)
They recommend that customers who are traveling on flights that are longer than four hours carry additional masks with them. When you go through passport control, you may be requested to remove your mask.
According to a statement on the BA website: “When you’re on board, you’re permitted to take your face mask off for a fair amount of time to allow you to eat or drink anything. It is important to put your face mask back on when you are not eating or drinking anything. It must completely cover your nose and mouth at all times.”
Wizz Air
Face masks are required for all passengers and personnel on Wizz Air flights, and they must be worn at all times throughout the flight. It is recommended that customers pack additional face masks for trips lasting longer than four hours.
Those who are excused from wearing a face mask must call Wizz Air’s Special Assistance Call Center at least 48 hours before their travel in order to arrange for this.
