Corendon Airlines Begins Trips From The Uk

Corendon Airlines, a European pleasure airliner, inaugurated its first flights from London-Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Newcastle International airports this week, marking the beginning of its Summer 2022 service.

All five of the initial flights from the United Kingdom’s airports took off with more than 90 percent of their capacity. Ceremonies were organized at each of the airports to commemorate the first flights, which received a lot of coverage in the local media.

The popularity of vacations in Turkey among English and Scottish tourists has led Corendon Airlines to increase the number of flights it operates to the country for the summer of 2022, according to the airline.

The airline is already offering flights to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Crete, and Rhodes during the summer of 2022, and it plans to grow its presence in the leisure sector by expanding the number of destinations and frequency of flights in 2023, according to a press release from the company.

In a statement, Corendon Airlines Chairman of the Board Yldray Karaer expressed his satisfaction with the level of demand from tourists in the United Kingdom for Corendon flights to Turkey and the Greek Islands. “Demand from tourists in the United Kingdom for our Antalya and Dalaman flights is very encouraging.”

The fact that our first flights for the summer 2022 season are fully booked is a terrific start to what will be our first full season of operations out of the United Kingdom in over a decade.

We are thrilled with the present level of interest in our flights. Following the travel limitations imposed over the previous two years as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic, we can see that British visitors were disappointed to find themselves in our nation.

With the exception of Antalya and Dalaman, we are witnessing increased interest in our other destinations from the United Kingdom, which is quite promising. This season, we want to fill our summer flights to almost capacity on a regular basis.

We want to continue operating flights to Antalya throughout the winter months of February and March.” In response to current demand and the wonderful winter climate in the Antalya area, we will continue to operate flights to Antalya from each of our existing UK airports during the winter of 22/23, as previously announced. We want to disclose our winter schedule as soon as possible since we are well aware of the huge demand for early bookings in this market.

The country is open all year, and the increased capacity will enable more people to come there during the winter months, when airfare and accommodation costs are even more favorable.”
