Corendon Airlines has started its inaugural winter flight schedule in the United Kingdom, with flights to Antalya departing from five different UK airports. Air New Zealand will operate three weekly flights out of Gatwick, as well as twice weekly flights from Manchester and Birmingham, as well as weekly routes via Newcastle and Glasgow.
“This is our first full summer season operating from the United Kingdom, and sales to far have been quite promising,” said Mine Aslan, Commercial Director of Corendon Airlines. “In the winter, Antalya is a terrific winter resort, particularly popular with couples and golfing groups. It was important for us to expand on the success of our present regional departures, and we believe that the Antalya program will accomplish that goal “…..
Corendon is introducing the new winter flights with very cheap fares in order to entice early bookers to take advantage of the low fares. Also in the first quarter, Corendon reported a solid sales performance across all of its European markets, with the United Kingdom in particular exceeding most of the other regions.
“Our enlarged summer 2022 program has gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback from both agencies and the general public. “While we have been in business for almost 20 years, the United Kingdom is a new market for us,” Aslan continued. “We have spent the last 12 months building our brand amongst the trade and regional press, and we are beginning to see a significant increase in awareness of Corendon Airlines,” Aslan concluded. A significantly bigger summer 2023 schedule, which will go on sale in the coming weeks, will be designed to take use of this opportunity.”
Corendon Airlines has almost 500,000 tickets available for sale for the summer of 2022, with 45 flights and 16 distinct itineraries available to choose from. Regional routes from Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Gatwick to Antalya and Dalaman, as well as flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Bodrum, Crete, and Rhodes are all included in this package.
