Alaska Airlines has announced that it would be commencing regular flights to the cities of Cleveland, Ohio, and Miami, Florida, in response to the increasing demand that has been seen over the summer season. Although Miami is not a new destination for Alaska, it was more than 10 years ago that the airline began serving the popular city in Florida.
Alaska Airlines’ primary hub, which is located at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) in the state of Washington, will soon begin offering daily service to both Cleveland and Miami. Both flights had already begun by the 16th of June, and the following information pertains to them:
The International Airport at Hopkins in Cleveland (CLE)

After taking off from Miami at 17:50 and landing in Seattle at 21:30, flight AS728 will have been in the air for roughly five hours and fifty minutes. The timings listed are in the local time zone.
The Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft belonging to Alaska Airlines will play a significant role in the operation of each of these two new flights. However, depending on the availability of aircraft, you can also see their Boeing 737-900ER NGs (Extended Range Next Generation) running the routes.
As a result of the launch of these two new flights, the total number of nonstop destinations that can be reached by Alaska Airlines from its home base in Seattle has increased to 100. Passengers will now have the opportunity to pick from among these 100 locations.
Alaska Airlines has extended its operations at Boise Airport (BOI) by adding new routes to Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport. These new services come on the heels of the airline’s inauguration of flights to both Cleveland and Miami (LAS).
In addition to this, Alaska has now started providing service between the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

After a hiatus of ten years, Alaska Airlines has resumed service at Miami International Airport, and the airport staff is pleased to have them back. Our locals will have additional possibilities for travel thanks to the introduction of daily flights to the Pacific Northwest and beyond, particularly to the breathtaking state of Alaska.”
