Bamboo Airways Established New Service To Vietnam - Travelrnews

This morning, the maiden flight of Bamboo Airways will take off from London Heathrow. The airline is new to the United Kingdom market and provides travellers with a cost-effective way to fly directly to Hanoi, Vietnam.

Passengers may choose between flying in economy or business class on the contemporary wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. “We are thrilled that we are now able to transport customers from London Heathrow directly to Hanoi at a reasonable pricing,” said Dang Tat Thang, chief executive of Bamboo Airways.

“Because London is one of the world’s financial and cultural centers, we anticipate that our new service will further boost connection between Vietnam and the United Kingdom, therefore contributing to the expansion of Vietnam’s aviation presence in the worldwide market.”

“Our long-term ambition is to grow across Europe, the United States, Australia, and Asia, with the goal of having 40 international lines in place by 2022. According to Bamboo Airways, “the world is opening up, and we are eager to take travelers on their next journey.”

Throughout the year, the flight will run once a week on Sundays, flying incoming and departing on the same day.  “As demand continues to improve, we’re thrilled to welcome Bamboo Airways to the Heathrow family,” said Ross Baker, chief commercial officer at Heathrow International Airport.

“The regular direct flights from the United Kingdom’s main airport to Vietnam will provide British companies with access to a rapidly expanding market while also providing travellers with the chance to explore the spectacular sites Vietnam has to offer,” says the airline.
