Avelo Airlines Expands to Caribbean

Avelo Airlines is a cheap airline that got its start in 2021 and has been expanding at a tremendous rate since then. The airline flies a fleet of contemporary Boeing 737 airplanes to various locations all throughout the United States of America. There are a number of airlines with which Avelo competes, including Spirit Airways, Breeze Airways, Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines.

Today, the airline made the announcement that its first destination in the Caribbean would be San Juan, Puerto Rico. A Boeing Next-Generation (NG) 737 aircraft will be used for flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning on November 15th, when Avelo begins service between Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN) and San Juan Luis Muoz Marin International Airport (SJU) on this route. From Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN), Avelo has now arrived at its 18th destination.

This morning, Avelo made the announcement at a ceremony that took place at Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN). There was Puerto Rican cuisine, entertainment provided by the Movimiento Cultural Bomba Band, Puerto Rican flags, as well as red, white, and blue balloons. In all, there are 25 states and one territory in the United States, and San Juan is the 47th destination.

The opinion of Anthony: Avelo is making great strides in expanding its network, and this location marks the company’s first expansion outside of the continental United States. This comes at a convenient moment to transport travelers to locations with milder temperatures throughout the winter.
