Airport In Sarajevo Has Recorded Its Busiest Day Ever

The biggest day that ever occurred at Sarajevo Airport was last Friday, when it processed 7,714 passengers and 71 planes within a single 24-hour period. According to the airport, “This is a record number of passengers to have utilized Sarajevo Airport’s services in a single day,” even when compared to 2019, when there were 7,651 travelers in a day.

The number of passengers using Sarajevo Airport has already reached what it was before the epidemic, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the few nations in Europe that is surpassing its results for 2019.

During the period of January to May 2019, Sarajevo Airport served 404.568 passengers, which is an increase of 19.5 percent compared to the same period in 2019, or an extra 66.039 travelers.
